This session will provide an overview of the upcoming Committee for Socio-economic Analysis (SEAC) consultation under ECHA related to the universal PFAS (uPFAS) restriction proposal. We will discuss what preparatory steps you can already take while awaiting confirmation of the official consultation start date, expected in the second half of March 2026.
Although the SEAC consultation period will be shorter than the previous restriction consultation, stakeholder input remains crucial to ensure that the socio-economic impacts of the proposed restriction are well understood and accurately reflected.
