RESIFA™ SUNLOVELY
RESIFA SUNLOVELY is a range of functional fine silica particles designed for high performance applications across coatings, resins, adhesives, and films. These particles are microscopic secondary particles formed by ultra thin, scaly silicon dioxide (SiO2) primary particles that overlap in parallel. In some grades, tertiary particles are formed through three way cohesion of the secondary particles, providing unique structural and performance benefits.
Available in both powder and slurry forms, SUNLOVELY allows selection of the optimal format for application requirements, whether easy dispersion, surface modification, or enhanced functional performance is needed.
Features
- Ultra thin, scaly particles, primary particle thickness is less than 0.1 micrometre, delivering high transparency and a non porous structure.
- High purity silica, SiO2 content exceeding 98 percent for excellent consistency and stability.
- Large surface area, 50 to 300 square metres per gram with a pore volume of 0.1 to 0.7 cubic centimetres per gram, offering strong adsorption properties.
- High silanol group density, approximately 30 micromoles per square metre, contributing to ion exchange capacity and surface reactivity.
- Chemically stable and inert, odourless, non toxic, and safe to handle.
- Two forms available, powder and water dispersed slurry for maximum flexibility in processing.
Benefits

- Coating strength and integrity
- Hydrophilicity and surface energy control
- Heat resistance and fire retardancy
- Long-term durability under harsh conditions
Applications
- Binder for ceramics and inorganic coating materials
- Humidity control, absorption, and deodorisation binder
- Functional filler for photocatalyst-supported films
- Resin hybrid filler for enhanced mechanical performance
- Gas barrier filler for corrosion protection
- Hydrophilic filler for antifouling coatings
